Book Review
The book I just readis called Rascal -by Sterling North
Significance- I think this book is valuable beacause it is a good book, mostly for kids, it shows lots of friendship and lots of love. This book is also valuable because it open's up your mind and make's you think of everything that's going on in the book. I chose to read this book Rascal because once i read the back of the book it said "many boys have a dog as their constant companion. Eleven year old Sterling North has a Racoon named Rascal. Rascal and Sterling do everthing together- from winning a pie eating contest to fishing for trout in the wisconsinForests. So i wanted to see /read about a great friendship between a Racoon And Sterling.
Perspective- As i said Sterling North Published this book. In the beging of the bookthere is no probelem intill Sterling has to have Rascal in a letch and in a cage. Sterlng prefers him to go in the wild as Rascal should be . I don;t think I can approach this problem another way. The angle I was looking at the book as I read the story was that Sterling had no mom had a dad was biluding a canoe and had a racoon he found. But sterling though that rascal needed to be free a place that he can run around. not in his house or in a cage ....But in the end of the story Sterling ended up giving his racoon freedom in the wild forests.
Evidence- As i was reading Rascal I did have pictures in my mind of the book.
Connection- As i read this book Rascal I had a connection to Myself and my dog.
supposition- If i didn't have these specific resources I would just right a summary of the book . If i could change a part in the book i will change the ending Sterling would keep his Raccon and make a bigger place for rascal to be in .
